4. Independent Contractor & Remote Service Model

Jiad Hassan operates as an independent contractor, providing remote advisory and consulting services from Bangladesh to clients located throughout California. Nothing in these terms or during the delivery of consulting services creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Consultant and client.

Clients are solely responsible for their internal business operations, hiring decisions, and the implementation of recommended architectural changes unless hands-on CMS remediation is specifically contracted.

5. Search Engine Mechanics and Disclaimers of Guarantees

No Guarantee of Numerical Rankings or Commercial Revenue:
Search engine algorithms (including Google, Bing, and AI conversational search platforms) are proprietary, highly complex, and constantly evolving outside the control of any SEO consultant. While I apply evidence-led, white-hat methodologies aligned with Google Search Essentials, I do not guarantee specific numerical rankings, top-position placements, guaranteed lead volumes, or specific revenue outcomes.

Ethical SEO requires ongoing diagnostic evaluation, testing, and continuous refinement. Unforeseen algorithm shifts, aggressive competitor campaigns, website hosting failures, or unilateral client CMS edits may impact organic search metrics.

6. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

All original content, branding, diagrams, layout designs, written analyses, and trademarks displayed on californiaseoexpert.com are the proprietary property of Jiad Hassan. You may access, view, and download website materials for personal, non-commercial evaluation purposes. Upon full payment for contracted consulting engagements, deliverables produced specifically for a client (such as audit reports, keyword maps, and technical developer specifications) become the property of the client, while Consultant retains the right to general methodology and diagnostic frameworks.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Jiad Hassan be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or algorithmic ranking fluctuations arising out of or related to website use or consulting advice.

Consultant’s total aggregate liability under any consulting engagement shall be strictly limited to the total fees actually paid by the client to Consultant during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
